Very Firm, no nonsense ALJ, understanding, listens, asks lots of questions, does not rush a decision; it's been 5 months since my hearing for 20 years of tremors, migraines, spinal cord compression in neck, mental health, etc. I believe it just takes time for the award letter to be processed.

I had my long awaited hearing this morning with Judge Angela Neel. No matter what the outcome I was so happy to have a judge that was compasional, respectful she wasn't judgemental and attentive to every minute of the hearing. I pray that who ever has a disability and has to go in front of a Judge you have the honor of having her preside over the case. God couldn't have given me a better Judge. Now remember I just had my case today and it is still being evaluated so I'm thanking her in advance without knowing the decision but no matter what the decision is I respect and accept it.

WELL AFTER READING ALL HIS REVIEWS AND MY ATTORNEY TELLING ME HE IS THE WORST JUDGE IAM TRULEY NOT LOOKING FORWARD TO MY APPEL IN SEPT.. MY ATTORNEY HAS SAID I QUALIFY FOR SSI UNDER THE GRID HOWEVER HE CAN MADE A DECSION UP AND BEYOND THAT..THIS JUST SEEMS SO UNFAIR AND INJUSTICE .THE FACT THAT MY ATTT TOLD ME THAT HALF THE ATTORNEYS CANCEL THE HEARING WHEN THEY FIND OUT IT IS THIS JUDGE.. HOW IS HE ABLE TO DO THIS????????DOES HE NOT UNDERSTAND THAT NOBODY WANTS TO ME DISABLED........WHEN YOU KNOW THAT IF IT WAS ANY OTHER JUDGE I WOULD BE APPROVED....GOD HELP ANYBODY THAT HAS HIM...........

Walking into his office you're going to be treated like you're fake. for example you can't treat everybody that walks into a store as a thief there are honest customers. I don't know why he feels like he's like protecting the system. Doctors do not put their careers on the line for people without legitimate conditions that ruin everyday functioning that mental illnesses patients suffer from. my boss 1 time from a retail position told me Joey stop treating all the customers like they're stealing and I was looking at them like that and it was wrong. there were real shoppers buying clothes for work or special occasions or vacation.Every time somebody came in the store I was thinking they were stealing and it was wrong and I feel like I was treated as a villain. His job to protect the system from doctors and conditions that are phony.

Judge Watkins denied my case. Though I did have to leave the house to pay for my electric bill, car insurance, etc. At the Winn Dixie next store to my apt. I do have to admit I was extremely distracted by his good looks. He is very attractive and young. I don't even think I heard a word he said becau it was extremely embarrassed that he read my medical records my medical records. It was very hard to concentrate because he was so cute I don't think I heard a word he said. I got extremely shy and reserved and now I wish I paid more attention. I felt very dizzy and very confused and couldn't wait for it to be over. I never felt more ugly and more embarrassed about my life in front of him.

It sad all I have heard is negative things about this one particular judge, I don't understand this,it almost make you feel like they single certain people out just for him because they know it's going to denied,is there a certain amount of people you show approve or has to be denied a year,I'm a very understandable person, but seeing this all the time make me second guess some thing, I know my case is no more important than others, but something is definitely not right her.

Hats off to Judge McDonnell!! My husband several years ago suffered a back injury at work and has severely suffered since both physically and mentally. Fighting workers comp and disability has taken its toll on our whole family. My husband had his ALJ with Judge McDonnell 11/17/14, which we were extremely nervous about...Especially seeing the judge denies way more than he approves. My husband has not improved but deterioted after numberous surguries, medication pt etc. yet always was denied disability, so we were absolutely sure Judge McDonnell would also deny my husband yet again...I must say Judge McDonnell throughly considered all information regarding my husbands condition, actually ruled my husband disabled from date of injury and also wrote a three page decision stating my husband has seriously been medically undertreated!!!! Judge McDonnell read between the lines and saw the truth in my husbands claim, and actually ruled based on facts. A round of applause for Judge McDonnell he is fair and able enough to determine actual disability from facts not opinions...Again a round of applause for Judge McDonnell
